day 1

AMMAN

Welcome to Jordan! Or rather, Ahlan wa Sahlan! Welcome to the capital of Jordan, Amman, a cosmopolitan and contemporary city yet rich with biblical history! We will meet directly at the hotel at 18:00 for a meeting with the other travelers and in the remaining free time we can explore the city and its places of interest such as the Jordan Museum, the Roman Theater and the numerous panoramic views over the entire city!

There are no lunches included on this day.

day 2

AMMAN – DANA NATURE RESERVE – LITTLE PETRA

After breakfast, we set off for the first trek of our adventure! We head towards the Dana Biosphere Reserve, the largest nature reserve in Jordan. The reserve consists of mountains, wadis, and sand dunes and hosts an incredibly diverse display of flora and fauna. After the journey, we move on to Little Petra, believed by archaeologists to have hosted traders visiting on the Silk Road, Little Petra is as fascinating as its larger counterpart, Petra!

day 3

LITTLE PETRA – PETRA

Our journey in Jordan continues and we start this morning's hike following a trail that leads us to Petra. The landscape today is constantly changing: sandy plateaus, Bedouin camps, herds of goats, and stone stairways. Our guided tour culminates at the Monastery, an impressive seven-story structure with an eight-meter-high portal. We return to the camp in the early afternoon and enjoy the free time available for the rest of the day.

day 4

PETRA

Our vacation in Jordan continues with a visit to the ancient site of Petra! This gem of Jordan is rightly on the "must see" list for many travelers. The lost city of the biblical Nabateans includes an impressive array of tombs and dwellings hidden behind ornate facades carved directly into the rock. We will have the opportunity to see the Obelisks Tomb, the High Place of Sacrifice, the Lion Monument, Wadi Farasa. Free time available at the end of the day.

day 5

WADI RUM

On this fifth day, we set out on a journey towards the desert of Wadi Rum, which will be our base for the next two nights. We begin our guided tour with a 4x4 vehicle and will have the opportunity to see the wonderful views and landscapes of the Wadi Rum, such as the famous seven pillars of wisdom, the sand dunes, and the rock bridges. As the sun begins to set, we will explore on foot the beautiful lunar landscape, admiring various canyons and the Um Fruth Rock Arch before ending at our camp for the night. Tonight we will stay at a camp in the desert, with the option to sleep in a tent or under the stars.

day 6

WADI RUM

Today the trek continues at Wadi Rum where we'll admire ancient water collection systems, Thamudic inscriptions, and many unique rock formations. We'll be joined by a local guide and a support vehicle, and there will be stops for tea and lunch. Along the way, we may climb one of the large sand dunes for a sensational view of the surrounding area. Later, we return to camp for another magical night in the desert!

day 7

MADABA – DEAD SEA

Our tour in Jordan continues and we head towards the small city of Madaba. This city is famous for its Ottoman-style houses and the stunning Byzantine-era mosaics. In the afternoon, we take a short car ride to the shores of the Dead Sea for a weightless dip in its famous salty waters and the chance to watch the sunset in one of the most spectacular locations in the world. We return to Madaba to wrap up this incredible journey with a hookah session with our fellow adventurers!

day 8

MADABA

Our organized trip to Jordan ends here. Depending on your departure time, you can still enjoy the attractions of this magical land called Jordan!
