Grand Bay

Welcome to Mauritius! We land at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport where we are greeted by the local guide who will accompany us to our transfer to our hotel at Hotel Ravenala Attitude (or similar). Check-in and free time at your disposal.

Dinner included. Airport transfer included. It is possible to leave luggage secured at the hotel even before check-in.

day 2

BALACLAVA – TROU-AUX-CERFS – GANGA TALAO – BLACK RIVER GORGES NATIONAL PARK – CHAMAREL

The day is dedicated to a full-day excursion. After about an hour and a half by bus, we reach our first stop, the volcanic crater of Trou-Aux-Cerfs which offers us a unique panoramic view. We then meet local artisans who create meticulous replicas of ancient ships at Voiliers de l'Ocean. We venture into the forest until we reach Ganga Talao, a sacred lake for the Mauritian Hindu community. We cross the Black River National Park and stop for lunch at a restaurant overlooking the coast. Our next stop is Chamarel, where we admire the waterfall and its land of seven colors. On the return trip to the hotel, we are accompanied by the views of Le Morne Mountain and Ile aux Benitiers; we arrive at our destination in the late afternoon.

For a fee, you can engage in activities such as banana ride, water skiing and scuba diving; relax at the hotel's spa; or take part in the optional excursions offered. Among these, a day discovering the north of the island (Cap-Malheureux, Gunner's Quoin, Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens, Blue Penny Museum, Port-Louis Market) and a day on a catamaran at Four à Chaux.
