PISA

Join us for a visit to Pisa, renowned for its Square of Miracles, home to the Baptistery, the majestic Camposanto, a sacred burial ground, and the Cathedral, boasting a marble façade embellished with columns and statues. But the star of the show is undoubtedly the unique and awe-inspiring Leaning Tower. We'll then spend the night in either Montecarlo or Pistoia, ensuring a full immersion in the Italian experience.

day 2

LUCCA - PISTOIA

Join us on a journey to Lucca, a city renowned for its hundred churches and stunning medieval walls. The historic heart of the city is accessible through one of its seven gates. As we stroll through the city, we'll encounter the 'Amphitheater' marketplace, a testament to the city's Roman roots. Don't miss the San Michele Square, home to the Church of San Michele in Foro and Palazzo Pretorio. While there, indulge in the local 'Buccellato Cake' at a Pasticceria in the square.

Our adventure continues in Pistoia, nestled halfway between Florence and Lucca. Despite being overshadowed by these two powerhouses, Pistoia is a gem in its own right, boasting beautiful architecture and a warm, friendly atmosphere. It's a city that comes alive with events like the Giostra dell’Orso and the Pistoia Blues Festival. Spend a delightful half-day exploring Pistoia’s historic center, visiting the Cathedral of San Zeno, the Baptistery, the Ospedale del Ceppo, Pistoia Sotterranea, the Piazza della Sala, and the Marino Marini Museum. We'll end our day with an overnight stay in either Montecarlo or Pistoia.

FLORENCE

Today, we're embarking on a journey to the world's largest art capital: Florence. A staggering one-third of Italy's art treasures are nestled in the heart of the Tuscan capital. Our first stop is Santa Croce, Italy's largest Franciscan church, known as the final resting place of many significant figures in Italian history, art, and literature. Next, we'll marvel at the grandeur of Palazzo Vecchio in Piazza della Signoria, home to Michelangelo's David replica. We'll also explore the octagonal Baptistery dedicated to San Giovanni, Florence's patron saint, and the Palazzo Medici-Riccardi, the first palace of the early Renaissance in Florence. For lunch, we'll savor authentic Italian pizza paired with beer and ice cream at a charming restaurant in the heart of Florence. We'll end our day with an overnight stay in either Montecarlo or Pistoia. Join us for this unforgettable journey into the heart of Italian art and culture.

SAN GIMIGNANO
