TAORMINA

Touch down at Catania Airport and, after retrieving your luggage, you have the option to join a group transfer to our hotel. There are no scheduled activities for the day, so feel free to explore the city at your leisure. Your room will be ready for you after 14:00. You'll find the itinerary for your stay at the hotel in Taormina area. Enjoy a delightful dinner and a restful night's sleep.

day 2

ETNA

Join us for breakfast at the hotel before we embark on an exciting journey to Mt. Etna, Sicily's highest peak and Europe's most active volcano. As we traverse the 'Park of Etna', one of Italy's largest protected areas, you'll be amazed by the diverse vegetation and landscapes we encounter. Our journey takes us to the 'Silvestri Craters' situated at approximately 1,900 meters. From this point, you have the option to further explore by jeep and cableway (at an additional cost). After indulging in some local Sicilian delicacies, we'll return to the hotel for dinner and a restful night's sleep.

day 3

SYRACUSE

Join us for a delightful breakfast at the hotel before we set off for Syracuse, a captivating archaeological site on the island. We'll explore the Archeological Park (at an additional cost), marvel at the Roman Amphitheatre and the Greek Theatre, and discover the intriguing Ear of Dionysius and the Cave of the Cordari. We'll also visit the Island of Ortigia, the city's oldest core, where we'll be awestruck by the magnificent cathedral. After a day filled with exploration, we'll return to the hotel for a delicious dinner and a restful night's sleep.

day 4

DOLPHIN WATCHING - COOKING LESSON

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. If you're up for it, join us for an optional cooking class in Taormina. A short 15-minute public bus ride will take us to the heart of Taormina. Here, we'll meet our master chef who will guide us through the art of preparing mouth-watering Sicilian dishes. After the cooking session, we'll sit down to a jovial lunch where we can savor our culinary creations and chat about the experience. Our day begins with a guided tour of the local market where we'll purchase fresh ingredients for our cooking class. The chef will provide insightful explanations about the ingredients. After a quick coffee break at the restaurant, we'll dive into the cooking process, including making hand-made pasta. Once all the dishes are ready, we'll enjoy a tasting session paired with fine wine. Before we part ways, you'll receive an official certificate and an apricot as a memento of this unique experience. The afternoon is yours to explore at your leisure.

When it's time, we'll meet at the port of Giardini Naxos for a boat trip. We'll plunge into the Isola Bella nature reserve, marveling at the rich marine life that inhabits our seabed. We'll also set out to spot dolphins in their natural habitat. Our tour is designed to provide unforgettable encounters with these magnificent creatures. The first part of our excursion will showcase the stunning bay of Isola Bella. The second part will be dedicated to spotting dolphins. Once we locate a pod, we'll approach them cautiously to minimize disturbance and observe their behavior. We'll return to the hotel by public bus, or you can choose to spend the evening with your new friends. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

day 5

SORRENTO

We'll start our day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel, before we embark on a group journey to the train station. Our destination? The vibrant city of Naples. Upon arrival, we'll transfer to our hotel located in the picturesque Sorrento area. As the day winds down, we'll enjoy a sumptuous dinner and settle in for a restful night. This is just the beginning of our adventure.

day 6

POSITANO - AMALFI

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Today, we'll embark on a journey to the Amalfi Coast, one of Europe's most breathtaking coastlines. We'll pick you up from the hotel in a mini van for a scenic drive that's arguably the world's most stunning and exhilarating. Our English or German speaking driver will provide you with general information and tips on how to make the most of your free time at each of our three planned stops.

Our first stop is Positano, a true paradise with its vibrant streets, alleys, and shops showcasing the world-renowned Positano fashion. The town's centerpiece is the Parish Church of Santa Maria Assunta, boasting a large dome tiled in majolica and housing precious works like polychrome marble altars. We encourage you to wander aimlessly in Positano, soaking in the beauty of its streets, shops, restaurants, monuments, churches, and beaches.

Next, we visit Amalfi, a charming town with a maze of alleys and stairways overlooking the sea. The extraordinary colors of the sea reflect the enchanting landscape of Amalfi, the town that lends its name to the entire coast. Dominated by the majestic Cathedral dedicated to Sant'Andrea (St. Andrew), Amalfi offers countless reminders of its glorious past as a Maritime Republic.

Our final stop is Ravello, a refined village nestled in greenery and marked by luxurious villas. Known worldwide for its Festival in the garden of Villa Rufolo, Ravello offers an extraordinary experience of music in an evocative setting. The heart of Ravello is Piazza Vescovado, framed by the architecture of Palazzo Rufolo and the Cathedral with its magnificent portal and towering bell tower.

After a day of exploration, enjoy a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay at the hotel.

day 7

CAPRI

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. The day is yours to enjoy as you wish. You can either unwind and discover the city at your own pace, or you can choose to accompany us on a full-day adventure to Capri. A visit to Sorrento isn't complete without experiencing the enchanting Island of Capri. Embark on a memorable journey across the Bay of Naples. Despite its small size, Capri, stretching just 4 miles long and 2 miles wide, has inspired countless songs, stories, and poems. We'll pick you up from your hotel and transport you to the port for your departure to Capri, cruising along the stunning Sorrento Coast. On our comfortable boat, we'll provide you with a unique and unforgettable trip around the beautiful island of Capri. Our English or German speaking Captain will share useful information during the journey, including tips on how to make the most of your free time on Capri Island. You'll get to see the ancient fishermen village of 'Marina Grande', the ruins of a Roman villa near 'Bagni della Regina Giovanna', and other fascinating coastal attractions. Upon reaching Capri, you'll have the chance to explore the island by boat, with opportunities to see the Marvellous Grotto, the White Grotto, the Green Grotto, the Natural Arch, the Villa Curzio Malaparte, the Faraglioni rocks, and the Lighthouse of Punta Carena. You'll disembark at Marina Grande in Capri, with 5/6 hours of free time to explore the island. Don't forget your comfortable shoes and cameras. After a day of exploration, return to the Sorrento Area for a delicious dinner and a restful night's sleep.
