day 1

TAORMINA

Touch down at Catania Airport and, after retrieving your luggage, you have the option to join a group transfer to our hotel. There are no scheduled activities for the day, so feel free to explore the city at your leisure. Your room will be ready for you after 14:00. You'll find the itinerary for your stay at the hotel. Enjoy a delightful dinner and a restful night's sleep in Taormina area.

day 2

ETNA

Join us for breakfast at the hotel before we embark on an exciting journey to Mt. Etna, Sicily's highest peak and Europe's most active volcano. We'll traverse through the 'Park of Etna', one of Italy's largest protected areas. Be prepared to be amazed by the diverse vegetation and landscapes we'll encounter on our way to the 'Silvestri Craters' (approximately 1,900 mt). From this point, you have the option to further explore by jeep and cableway (at an additional cost). After indulging in some local Sicilian delicacies, we'll return to the hotel. Enjoy your dinner and a restful night's sleep.

day 3

SYRACUSE

Join us for breakfast at the hotel before we set off for Syracuse, a captivating archaeological site on the island. We'll explore the Archeological Park (at an additional cost), marvel at the Roman Amphitheatre and the Greek Theatre, and discover the intriguing Ear of Dionysus and the Cave of the Cordari. We'll also visit the Island of Ortigia, the oldest part of the city, where we'll be awed by the stunning cathedral. After a day of exploration, we'll return to the hotel for dinner and a restful night's sleep.

day 4

AGRIGENTO

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Then, join us as we set off for Agrigento to explore the enchanting Valley of the Temples. Here, you'll marvel at the Temple of Juno, the Temple of Concorde, which is one of the best-preserved Doric temples in the entire Greek world, the Temple of Hercules, and the Temple of Castor and Pollux. After a day filled with awe-inspiring sights, we'll return to our hotel for a restful night's sleep.

day 5

TAORMINA COAST TO COAST - SNORKELING

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before embarking on our 'Taormina Coast to Coast by Boat' excursion. This journey will unveil the stunning natural beauty of the Giardini/Naxos-Taormina coastline. We'll meet at the Giardini Naxos port and set sail on a cozy, traditional boat (max. 12 guests), cruising along the Ionian Coast. From here, we'll enjoy a spectacular view of Mount Etna and its awe-inspiring surroundings. Along the way, we'll explore caves, including the famous 'Grotta Azzurra' (subject to weather conditions and currents), intriguing rock formations, and the exquisite Nature Reserve of Isola Bella.

For those seeking a bit more adventure, we offer an optional snorkeling activity. Snorkeling is a fantastic way to explore the coasts of one of Italy’s most beautiful islands. It's simple, fun, and offers breathtaking views of 'Isola Bella' and 'Grotta Azzurra'. You can snorkel along the vertical walls in the bay of the blue cave and in the marine park of Isola Bella, surrounded by a diverse array of flora and fauna. The unique morphology of the coast and sea beds is truly a sight to behold. All our tours include detailed explanations of the area’s history, as there are many archaeological traces from the Greek/Roman period. We provide refreshments during the tour and our friendly staff ensures a warm and welcoming atmosphere, allowing you to fully immerse in the enchanting ambiance of this wonderful island. Snorkeling and scuba diving are the best ways to admire Taormina’s stunning underwater landscapes – the coral and sea grass are a must-see! After a day full of exploration, unwind with a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay at the hotel.

day 6

AEOLIAN ISLAND

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. The Aeolian islands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000, await your exploration. We'll set off by bus, led by our tour guide, to the port of Milazzo. From there, we'll journey by private motorboat to the enchanting island of Lipari. Here, we'll pause for a while, giving you the chance to explore the ancient town, the archaeological park, and the majestic cathedral. You'll also have some free time to indulge in shopping at the local stores on the island. We'll then get back on board and sail past the awe-inspiring 'Faraglioni' and the 'Horse’s Cave'. Our voyage continues to Vulcano, where you'll have the opportunity to experience sulfurous mud baths in a dedicated area (entrance fee not included). Please note, these mud baths are not suitable for pregnant women and children. After our return journey by sea, we'll sail along the coast, offering views of the 'Rock of the Little Mermaid'. Please be aware that an eco-tax is payable on board the bus and is not included in the price. We'll then retire for the night at our hotel.

SICILY GODFATHER TOUR

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before we set off for Forza D'Agrò, a picturesque village perched on a hill overlooking Taormina. Here, we'll embark on a cinematic tour, exploring the locales made famous by the iconic film, The Godfather. As we meander through the narrow lanes of this quaint town, you'll be treated to stunning views and architectural marvels like the Durazzesco arch and the Cathedral. This very Cathedral was chosen as the backdrop for one of the most romantic scenes in The Godfather - the wedding of Micheal Corleone. From the Panoramic Square, prepare to be awed by an extraordinary coastal view. After soaking in the charm of Forza D'Agrò, we'll continue our journey to Savoca, another village renowned for its association with The Godfather. Here, you'll find the original buildings and monuments from the film, including the famous Bar Vitelli. After a day filled with cinematic nostalgia, we'll return to the hotel for a restful overnight stay.

CATANIA

We'll start our day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. We'll need to check out by 10:00. If you wish, we can arrange a transfer to Catania airport. Thank you and goodbye!
