BEIJING

Arriving at the Beijing airport. Group transfer to the hotel. (Check-in is expected after 2 PM). Free time to adjust to the time zone. Dinner on your own. Overnight stay.

day 2

BEIJING

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning guided tour of the city of Beijing, starting with the famous Forbidden City, which with its 9,999 rooms spans an area of about 7 square kilometers, is the ultimate example of classical Chinese architecture. Climb up Coal Hill to admire the panorama of old Beijing. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer to the northwest outskirts of Beijing, visit to the Summer Palace, the imperial summer residence since 1135. Dinner featuring Peking duck at a local restaurant. After dinner, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight stay.

day 3

BEIJING

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure by car for the visit of the Great Wall at Mutianyu (cable car included). Simple lunch during the excursions. In the afternoon, return to the city, visit to Tian’anmen Square, located in the heart of Beijing, it is one of the largest squares in the world and an icon of China. Also known as the Gate of Heavenly Peace Square, it is a place of great historical and cultural importance. The tour continues to the Qianmen pedestrian district. Walking along Qianmen Street, one can admire traditional Chinese architecture mixed with Western influences. The historic buildings feature colorful facades and traditional ornaments, creating a charming and picturesque atmosphere. There are also numerous shops selling traditional Chinese items, such as clothing, crafts, jewelry, and souvenirs. Return to the hotel, dinner on your own, and overnight stay.

BEIJING - XI'AN

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning check-out from the hotel. Departure for the visit to the Temple of Heaven, originally a vast park for solemn religious and divinatory rites performed by the Son of Heaven since 1420. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to the railway station, departure by high-speed train to Xi'an (about 4.5 hours). Arrival at Xi'an, transfer to the hotel passing by the illuminated city walls of Xi'an by car. Western set menu dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

day 5

Xi'an

Breakfast at the hotel. The morning begins with a journey through the countryside to visit the majestic Terracotta Army, standing guard over the emperor's burial site and consisting of over 8,000 life-size statues. Lunch at a restaurant featuring typical dumplings. In the afternoon, visit the Great Mosque in the old city of Xi'an, the only mosque in the world with a Chinese garden style. Stroll through the Muslim quarter's bazaar, where various snack restaurants and souvenir stalls abound. During the transfer to the hotel, one can see the majestic Bell Tower from the car.

XI’AN - GUILIN - LONGSHENG

Simple boxed breakfast. In the morning, departure by flight to Guilin (about 2 hours). Arrival and meeting with the local guide, departure for the Longsheng village of the Zhuang Ethnicity with their terraced rice fields, a magnificent painting of mountains and waters, carefully cultivated by the local Zhuang farmers for hundreds of years. The terraces wind sinuously, like a huge staircase, creating a breathtaking spectacle. In every season, from spring to winter, one can admire different landscapes, from the bright green rice fields to the harvest seasons that turn a deep golden color, offering a unique beauty. Lunch at a local restaurant. At the end of the visit, return to the city of Guilin, transfer to the hotel. Western set menu dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay.

day 7

GUILIN - YANGSHUO

Breakfast at the hotel. A day of relaxation to admire the famous natural landscapes of the hills and the clear river. Transfer to the river port, boarding for the motorboat excursion on the Li River which is particularly picturesque, lasting about 3 - 3.5 hours. A simple lunch on board. Disembark at the village of Yangshuo and stop at the local market. Return to Guilin by private car. Dinner at your leisure. Overnight stay.

day 8

GUILIN - SHANGHAI

Breakfast at the hotel. In good time, transfer to the airport, departure by flight to Shanghai (about 2.5 hours). Lunch on your own on board. Arrival and meeting with the local guide, beginning of a first glimpse of the city of Shanghai with a Walk along the Bund, the avenue that showcases Shanghai of the early '30s. The rest of the time is spent walking along Nanjing Road. Dinner on your own and overnight stay

day 9

SHANGHAI

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the guided tour of Shanghai starting from the old city with the bazaar, where the Yu Garden of the Mandarin is centrally located. Lunch with typical Dim Sum at a restaurant. In the afternoon, the tour continues with a visit to the Jade Buddha Temple. A stop at the Xintiandi district, a corner of the old colonial Shanghai which has been renovated in recent years, while maintaining the typical architectural style of the past, becoming a trendy pedestrian neighborhood full of restaurants, bars, museums, art installations, galleries, workshops, and attractive shops. The rest of the time is free for individual visits or shopping. Dinner on your own and overnight stay.

SHANGHAI - HANGZHOU

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, transfer to the railway station, departure by high-speed train to Hangzhou (about 1 hour). Arrival and meeting with the English-speaking guide, start of the excursions with a boat tour to admire the beautiful West Lake, surrounded by green hills, splendid gardens, and picturesque bridges, creating an enchanting landscape. Lunch at a local restaurant. The journey continues with a tea tasting in the village of Longjing, where the Chinese green tea of the highest quality in all of China is cultivated. Visit to the ancient Huqin Yutang Chinese pharmacy, a historic traditional Chinese pharmacy offering medicinal herbs and natural remedies since 1874. A walk along Hefang pedestrian street, which has been rebuilt and restored to preserve the traditional atmosphere, with historic buildings, traditional shops, stalls, and restaurants that evoke the charm of ancient China. At the end of the excursions, transfer to the hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight stay.

HANGZHOU - SUZHOU - TONGLI

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by high-speed train to Suzhou (about 1.5 hours). Arrival and meeting with the Italian-speaking guide, private car transfer to Tongli village, renowned for its picturesque canals, ancient bridges, and well-preserved traditional architecture. The town was established during the Song dynasty and has over a thousand years of history. Lunch at a local restaurant during the excursions. Visit to the Master of the Nets Garden, which was built in the 12th century and is an exceptional example of Chinese garden art. At the end of the visit, transfer to the hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight stay.

SUZHOU - SHANGHAI

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit Tiger Hill, which is rich in history and culture. Within it, there are numerous historical and religious sites, such as the Yunyan Temple that dates back to the Tang Dynasty, and the Spring Pagoda, an iconic seven-story structure. As they climb the hill, visitors can explore ancient temples, pavilions, and gardens, admiring the traditional architecture and immersing themselves in Buddhist spirituality. The tour continues with a visit to the Pan Gate, an extraordinary example of Chinese defensive architecture. Its construction dates back to the Wu Dynasty, over 2,500 years ago. At the end of the visit, take a walk along Qilishantang Street, an ancient canal that stretches for about seven kilometers through the city of Suzhou. During the Song Dynasty, it was a bustling commercial route and a cultural center. Today, it still retains the historic and traditional atmosphere, offering visitors an authentic experience of the daily life in Suzhou. In due time, transfer to the railway station, departure by train to Shanghai (about 30 minutes). Arrival and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

SHANGHAI - DEPARTURE
