GUATEMALA CITY - CHICHICASTENANGO - LAKE ATITLAN

Join us on a journey to the vibrant village of Chichicastenango, a place that comes alive every Thursday and Sunday as locals gather to trade everything from fruits, vegetables, and flowers to seeds, animals, textiles, and handicrafts. This bustling market is the most colorful and picturesque in all of Guatemala. We'll also take time to explore the local Church of Santo Tomás, a sacred site where the Maya-Quiche natives perform their traditional rites. After a lunch break, our adventure continues towards the breathtaking Lake Atitlán. We can't wait to share this unique experience with you.

LAKE ATITLAN - LA ANTIGUA

Embark on a boat journey to the charming town of Santiago Atitlán, nestled amidst three majestic volcanoes by one of the world's top 10 most stunning lakes. In Santiago, we'll explore the sacred site of Saint Maximon, a fascinating blend of pagan customs and Catholic faith. Post lunch, we'll transfer to Panajachel, before proceeding to La Antigua.

LA ANTIGUA - GUATEMALA CITY

Embark on a journey back in time after a hearty breakfast, as we explore the enchanting city of Antigua. Its cobblestone streets, vibrant walls adorned with characteristic balconies, and bougainvillea cascading from dilapidated buildings paint a picture of a bygone era. The city's breathtaking landscape, nestled at the base of three majestic volcanoes - Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango, is a sight to behold. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Antigua is one of the most stunning colonial cities in the Americas. Our exploration begins at the city's heart, the Central Park, where we'll visit the key monuments. Post lunch, we'll head to the quaint villages of San Juan del Obispo, known for housing one of Guatemala's first Catholic churches, and Santa Maria de Jesús, nestled under the slopes of Volcán de Agua. The latter boasts a 17th-century temple in its central square. As the day winds down, we'll make our way back to Guatemala City.
